2019

i) Continue to educate & support 23 children at Dr Njenga Foundation Orphanage in Kenya.: one girl at Kenya College called Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology; 4 girls joins various high schools, and 3 boys joins other various high schools, and 13 more kids in primary school.
(i) New Dormitory to accommodate 40 girls at our Dr Njenga Orphanage in Kenya. Plans awaiting local Council approval in Kenya. Budget $50,000. We have already received a donation of $9,869.82 from Rotary Club of New Westminster of British Columbia to start this project. Project not yet started.

b) Dug the 120 ft deep Water well / bore hole, and installed additional water tank. Also, repainted the orphanage, bought 22 boxes for children, donated 400 books to the Kamuchege primary school where the orphanage children go to school.

a) In 2012, we admitted the existing 22 children at an orphanage that we constructed on a 1/4 acre property donated by Dr Peter Njenga. These kids are given food and accommodation and we pay school fees. They go to public primary schools near the orphanage and one girl is now in a high school. The annual budget for this orphanage is $12,000.
b) Helped Primary Schools with library, text books & Computers . When money is available. Please help with any donation. Due to costs of transport to Kenya, please donate cash instead of books & computers.

CANADA: Helped 520 people in 2013 through our event called “Homeless Food Drive”. It was very successful. Through your help, a joint effort between Bethany-Newton United Church of Surrey BC and Dr Njenga Foundation Charity exceeded targeted expectation because 520 food hampers and 5 SUV's full of clothing were distributed to Homeless people in the Cities of Vancouver and Surrey and Richmond.
